Local band, local love! Come see the "homecoming" concert for Tahoe's own Dead Winter Carpenters - July 12 at Homewood Mountain Resort.
The Homewood Days festival is a celebration of the West Shore, and the people, music, and outdoor activities that make it the Best Shore.
Homewood Mountain Resort will host a ticketed sunset concert on Saturday, July 12, featuring headliners the Dead Winter Carpenters, with Peter Joseph Burtt and the King Tideopening the show. Tickets will be $15 in advance, $17 at the door, and the concert will begin at 5 p.m. behind Homewood's North Lodge.
In addition to the sunset concert, the 2014 Homewood Days Festival will include all-day fun family-friendly activities including:

Farm to Peak dinner series offers Tahoe's best dinner view
Continuing one of Tahoe’s newest traditions, Homewood Mountain Resort is excited to announce an expanded lineup of mountaintop farm-to-table dinners this summer. The Farm to Peak dinner series will welcome guest chefs Billy McCullough, Grog Verbeck and Jessica Stutz to create spectacular, locally-sourced meals served atop Homewood’s slopes overlooking Lake Tahoe.
Guests at the Farm to Peak dinners – scheduled forSaturday, July 5; Saturday, Aug. 9; and Saturday, Aug. 30 – will experience a scenic chairlift ride on Homewood’s Quail Chair before sitting down to a five-course meal with wine or beer pairings, highlighting the freshest seasonal ingredients available locally.
The Farm to Peak dinners will again be offered exclusively at Homewood Mountain Resort. Each one-of-a-kind experience is $150 per person, with a limited number of reservations available. Advance reservations are required.
Guests will meet at Homewood’s South Lodge (105 Tahoe Ski Bowl Way, Homewood, Calif.) and will begin the chairlift ascent up the mountain between 3-4 p.m. Dinner service will begin promptly upon all guests’ arrival and conclude by dusk. Vegetarian options are available upon request.

Activity of the week - Lake Tahoe Water Trail
Lake Tahoe offers 72+ miles of shoreline, with sandy beaches and rocky inlets – ideal conditions for kayaks, paddleboards, and other non-motorized watercraft to enjoy the Lake Tahoe Water Trail. Public agencies in both states operate beaches with good launching opportunities, and if you rent from Homewood you can launch right across the street at the West Shore cafe and inn.

Now through June 30 - Register for Homewood Cornhole League: The rules are simple: Have Fun. Be Honest. Don’t Ever Call it Bean Bag Toss! Registration is still open for just $50/team until all spots are filled. Space is limited and going fast. League will take place on Monday evenings starting June 30. Every Monday, from 6 - 9 p.m., The Grill at Homewood will be hosting teams as they compete to win up to $3,000 in cash and prizes. Games are 12 minutes long, with each team playing three times. During downtime, you can enjoy drinks and snacks from The Grill. Full details...
